Inspirations is a curated library of production-ready designs and interaction patterns. Use it when you want a strong starting point without designing every detail from scratch.

What you can find

The library and its categories are updated regularly, so the options you see may change over time.

Open Inspirations

You can open the library in two places:
  • From chat: click Inspirations below the chat input.
  • From the right panel: in the desktop app, open the right panel and select the Inspirations tab.

Find the right reference

  1. Choose App Pages, Sections & Components, Landing Pages, or Animations.
  2. For App Pages and Sections & Components, use the Web / Mobile control to choose a platform.
  3. Select a category from the Filter dropdown to narrow the results.
  4. Use search to find items by name, description, or category.

Explore and use an item

Click a card in Inspirations page to open its detail view. You can inspect the live preview and visit the original site. Landing Page details can also include the design’s colors, typefaces, spacing, border radii, and an agent-readable design.md file. Click copy file if you want to use those design instructions elsewhere.

Remix a landing page

Click Remix on a card or Remix page in its detail view. Kombai then:
  1. Saves the landing page as a new .canvas file in your workspace and opens it.
  2. Switches the chat to Design Mode.
  3. Attaches the new Canvas to chat and adds the Remix Design skill.
Describe the product or use case you want to create. For example:
“Remix this into a landing page for a meal-kit delivery service.”
The remix preserves the source design’s structure and visual direction while adapting the content and assets to your prompt. The library item remains unchanged, so you can return to it whenever you want.

Use an App Page or Section & Component as a reference

Click Use on a card, or Use app page / Use section in its detail view. Kombai saves the item as a new Canvas, opens it, switches to Design Mode, and attaches the design to chat. Then tell Kombai what you want to build and how closely it should follow the reference. For example:
“Use this settings page as a reference for an account-security page in my product’s design system.”
App Pages and Sections & Components do not add the Remix Design skill automatically. This leaves you free to use the screen as a loose reference or ask for a closer adaptation.

Use an animation

Hover over an Animation card to preview it. Click Use on the card or Use animation in its detail view to add the matching animation skill to chat. No Canvas is downloaded. Describe the target element and the behavior you want. For example:
“Apply this reveal to the feature cards in the selected landing-page design.”
