Variations determine how many independent design options Kombai generates in a single prompt. Instead of producing one result, Kombai creates multiple versions. Each version takes a different visual direction, so you can compare and pick the one that fits best. You can set the number of Variations to 1, 2, or 3. The default is 3.

Set the number of Variations

  1. In the chat box, click the button to open the Variations popover.
  2. Open the Variations dropdown and select 1, 2, or 3.
Some models only generate one variation at a time. For these, the Variations dropdown is set to 1 and disabled. To request multiple variations, ask for them directly in your prompt (for example, “Provide 3 design variations”).
